Horn Subwoofer
The LX-18 takes traditional folded horn subwoofers to the next level. The
cabinet is built to withstand the abuse of the road and is backed by a LIFETIME
construction warranty. A newly designed internal compression chamber provides
intense, clean and controlled bass. At the heart of the LX-18 is the new B-52
18-200L subwoofer with a cast-aluminum frame, a massive 200oz magnet and an
innovative 4” dual-layer tempered aluminum voice coil.
B-52 folded-horn subwoofers provide the advantage of low-frequency horn loading
from powerful and cost-effective cabinets, which are suitable for a wide variety
of high-output applications. LX-Series enclosures provide high-efficiency, low
distortion, increased headroom and a superior transient response. The LX-Series
subwoofer will outperform any conventional direct radiating system by 3-6 dB at
distances of 75-150 feet. That’s up to twice the SPL at these distances! These
subwoofers will add earth-shaking, chest thumping bass to any system, so we
highly recommend reinforcing your dance floor or stage before use!
