Passive Subwoofers

The PA-18S and PA-1818S subwoofers are built for the largest of venues, where touring sound performance, immense power handling and thunderous, yet tight bass is a must. These subwoofers can be combined with any B-52 full-range system to deliver high SPL with optimal low-frequency reproduction down to 30 Hz. The 18-200S subwoofers used are designed to withstand a tremendous amount of abuse, such as amplifier clipping and overpowering, without failure. The 18-200S subwoofers are also mechanically engineered as true “subwoofers” in that they will naturally roll-off at 250 Hz even with a full-range signal. An electronic cross-over, however, is recommended.
