The ACT-18S is a passive version of the ACT-18 and utilizes the same 18-200S subwoofer with a 4” polyamide voice coil, cast-aluminum frame and 200 ounce magnet structure. The ACT-18S can be powered by the ACT-18 (using the Neutrik Speakon output on the ACT-18 amplifier) or via a conventional rack-mount amplifier. The cabinet is constructed of 13 layer Baltic Birch and includes a 16 gauge perforated steel grill, metal corners and handles, pole mount receptacle and rubber feet. A tilt-back handle and 3” casters are provided.
